These charming locations are packed with character, decades of fond memories and vibrant history. Amber will fight hard and succeed for small business by supporting and creating stable policy to impact positive economic growth in the district.
As your next City Council member, Amber will amplify small business owners. These community entrepreneurs will have a re-imagined world of resources at their local council members office. Like never before, Amber will work towards bringing financial certainty and an era of prosperity to area residents.
Amber will also offer business development programs hosted by her district office, which will feature an array of education professionals. Additionally, Amber will work with business development areas to create special events, shop local initiatives and community activities which will help promote and generate dollars for local businesses.
Amber has been a supporter of Covid-19 relief efforts for small business owners. She is ready to continue to provide creative solutions as needed during these challenging times. Amber is results driven and is the only candidate with the resources and understanding to quickly deliver solutions.
Once elected, Amber’s district office will provide a bevy of assistance for small businesses that includes but is not limited to: free business tax assistance for gig workers and the self employed, providing referral services and sharing local job opportunities and protecting the self-employed and traditional freelancers.
Amber will blend small business owners together to develop the young adults in the area by launching a series of Community Business Mixers. Events will include presentations and meet-and-greets with business professionals. There will be opportunities for young adults to find internships, temp jobs that build their resume and entry level positions at local businesses. Amber’s office will also host workshops and programming related to Accessing Capital, Healthcare and Employee Benefits, Technology and Innovation in Southern Brooklyn and Entrepreneurial Development.
